After intense negotiations, a deal is struck with Lord Cutler Beckett to call off all East India Trading Co. attacks on the Newlife, in the exchange that the pirates will stop their attacks on the Company's Fleets... fortunately enough, as soon as the Newlife was out of sight and back on course, the deal was "called off."
