A glut of new stuff, I thought the valentine's day quest was the same as last year? Pirates that did it last year could not do it, right?

The mardi gras stuff was cute for ten minutes, fireworks and pork tonics are not new stuff, they did this last year correct?

Feats of strengh, though fun was limited to just the first pirates that could sign up and again it was an event that was done last year?

Invasions moving from island to island, I will concede that the locations are different. Powder keg runners are a new variable in the defense stragedy.

The cave redo's, personally I liked the old Catacombs and Beckett's Quarry. I ask why a redo? why not an add too instead. I do not enjoy running through tunnels all that much, my avatar has my claustrophobia.

So that brings us to test updates:

Revive no groggy, that is a nice feature. Is it content?

Guild invites this has not been an issue for me even when my pirates were "guildless." If it bothers you, I expect that you could do what I did create your own guild. With a membership of one.

No friend invites would be nice for my 50 especially.

Changing damage levels to sails, I do not see this as content. It is an update.

New fleet ships of the line, I do not know what they entail but if it is a new challenge, yay Level 80 boss ships and escorts that are carrying weapons that are connected to the story line. cool feature

Casa de los Muertos Quest on Padres sounds good. I do wonder if it going to be like the last set? I think disney is using mini quests to set up lore and set the stage for the next chapter or new features. So I am hopeful for the future.
