List of level 50 Pirate masters

You know... I've always wanted to ask this...

And since I am just a simple Pirate as any other and would love to have a clear explanation
as to how this was possible especially from the top...uh... let's say 5 players on this list...
how did you possibly achieve level 50 WITHOUT leveling your weapons...??????

I like to hear how the actual task was accomplished so I too may try?
As many of us know.. the top 3 at least did not have weapons mastered and did this within a few days after the release....?
With such a prestigious title proclaimed as "First to achieve this" by the first three listed I would love to hear a clear explanation?

What Swash originally meant by that quote, to be added to the list, you just have to hit notoriety level 50, but all of your weapons don't have to be level 30. As we all know, rep can be received from mastered weapons, so if you work one over and over after its level 30, you don't even have to level another weapon.

I'm sure that there are a few people on the list who didn't earn level 50, but there is no way for anyone to really know for sure.
