Retro Island days!!!!

I do understand the idea of "retro" but dont see that it would really be that "nostalgic", and I think it would likely cause more problems in POTCO. First of all, big update days are slow and painstaking on POTCO, everyone logging in, downloading the updates. A 'retro' day would have everyone performing major updates for the event, and then again after to go back to.. <GASP> normal!

I have to agree with Zep here. I think the game is only just now beginning to be a glimmer of what they intended it to be from the start. Putting things back the way they were short term would solve nothing but to confuse new players. I mean, if a pirate were to try the game for the first time on the day before the new islands go back, how confused would they be? Going back serves no purpose.

I also really love Basil's idea. Maybe in future expansions we will get just that. One can hope.

Honestly, in a way I think it's funny. How long have some of you been waiting, hoping for all this new stuff that hit test just yesterday. Yet still some are wishing for the old ways. Celebrate, the game is growing at last!
