I've found that I get about the same rep on my staff if I use a bunch of low level attacks or knock them down with flaming skull. I have even tried using the blast attack on a lv25 gypsy I'd shot with hex eater...after about 2 min of constant blasting he died...and I didn't get any more rep than if I'd just fried him quickly. The only weapon that you can really use low power to level seems to be the pistol. I can get 100 rep on a lv28 with 2 rounds of hex eater and then lead shot for the rest.

Where's the best place to level your staff when you first get it? I've been on Padres and other places but they just don't give good rep.

Probably the most popular place is the formation of vets on the field at kingshead.

With wither you can blast them all at once..
Careful.. have tonics and/or a healer.

u would get a LOT of rep in kingshead or other navy(especially kingshead and charles) just make sure you have level two or more, i think. im only lvl 22 though.

Kings head is good, and for leveling yeah, it doesn't really matter how you choose to put points in your skills in regards to leveling up provided you have a weak skill to use.

I find If i don't get enough rep, I usually throw a few(10-15) lower level spells out for a while to get more rep from it.

I went to Kings to level up my staff. At first I used the grenade combo, I would get behind the fence (seven posts to from the start..see the post on grenade leveling) and then toss a stink bomb at the group of vets. They would run over and I would blast them with pestilence until they died.

I leveled up five levels within 30 minutes, then I put an extra point in wither, one in concentration and one in spirit lore. After that I just went out and stood in the middle of the vets and used wither. They don't attack if you don't move, so hold still and when your voodoo and heath is at max, zap them. It takes about four times to get rid of all of them with two points in wither.

From doing those two things now I'm at level 12 and use wither mostly, conservation point seems to help a little. I'm going to take everyone's advice about desolation, seems like no one liked it.

Well, I'd say use 2 Flaming skulls on the Vets at the vet fields first then 2 withers when they get close! that'll get u easier rep as they take time running to u after using Flaming skull on them and gets you plunder!

Well now im here to talk about all of those ways to use the staff and you type at the bottom of the post reply box your favorite way to use voodoo.

First: You get to go around tormenta using your staffs or dolls and showing off by blowing up urchinfists lvl 36+
second: Have you ever been in a fight with another player(s) and it wasnt in a PVP? Well if its not a pvp then you get to show off!!!! plus the good thing is you dont hurt them. and if they are really tough like you (staff ppl) they might ask you to be friends.

Third: You take out your pirate doll and you wonder "how many people know how much i can attune to?" Go ahead and show off by attuning them and using heal or cure while attuning to all of them
