It's a good theory, but I don't think it's correct. It's the game, as the poster above me said, they tried to fix the "glitch".

i guess
I guess ur right, but i can't go along with the crowd like eveyone else. It is a good theory though isn't it, it does fit, but I just can't understand how they did such a good job on the whole game and screwed up the last level. I mean why wait until the good part to mess up, it can't be too different than the regular game to make, could it? I just can't understand that they didn't fix it from the beta version! Isn't that what a BETA is for, to test out the game and see what doesn't work, you guys tell me you were beta testers. So YOHO mateys, YOHO!

Well, it's a very logical explanation. I honestly think you've come up with something. Maybe, in the future, there will be some sort of thing whoch will help you possibly control the wind? It's a wild chance, but who says it will never happen? Nobody knows yet!

They fixed a lot of the beta issues before launch. It's tough to do everything, especially since players pick out flaws more than anything else. There's a lot do to still, but VR is making good progress.

That's a good comment. I think there needs to be a wind controlling quest that is a seperate quest. It should come at about Level 23.

I disagree. Two identical ships will travel at the same speed in the same wind. Two *different* ships will travel at *different* speeds in the same wind. The top speed of a wind-propelled ship will be heavily dependent on the size/weight of the craft, number/size/placement/orientation of the sails, shape/hydrodynamics of the hull contacting the water, direction of travel relative to the wind, etc etc etc. Suffice it to say that the BP being faster or slower than any other ship than the BP is perfectly legitimate and based on nothing more than aero- & hydro- dynamics.

Dude, relax, its just a theory. No need to throw all this hydro whatever stuff in here, first of all us kids have no idea what your talking about, and second of all, I thought there was another teachers forum a few blocks down. It is a guess, I was hoping people would put down there guesses not make fun of mine.
. Ar! and YOHO

EERaider, I think it's a great possibility. Politely criticize his theory instead of angrily attacking him!
