Takes a while, but I had some problems with this before..
Created a guild as 69 Eyes, waited a day, tried re-naming it again (I got no confirmation). And it said my name was accepted, and the name i typed it, it didn't change to. It's currently '69 Eyes'.. I left the guild not too long after, I did have a few members though. I'm not sure who the leader is now though :P |

It takes awhile to be approved. If you over-do it and get impatient, I think something screws up and it will take even longer.
