lol. They are when someone challenges you to a Skirmish.
To join one, just click on the person who challenged you, click Skirmish, then join or something. Maybe someone can help with my bug now. (As in the finding a creature on Kingshead Island bug.) Impossible? Maybe! Or just a badly worded quest. |

I be on an upgraded account and for the life of me, I can never figure out how to join. But THanks, Vangelis, for that! I'll try that next time a Treasure Game flies me way. Remember you scallywags, protect the precious booty!

Sometimes I get challenged by 100000000080 which doesn't exist, lol. Random skirmishs for me, with AN INVISIBLE PIRATE OMG HOW DO I WIN?! lol.

It's PvP. If you go into your Lookout tab after you've been invited, you'll see that it's searching for a PvP game.
