I actually think that AOE2 had decent graphics, though yes, that'd be pretty sweet. If they implemented things like the trickles introduced in the AOE3 expansions, among other things, then yes, such a game would be sweeter.

AOE3 was much different in the ways of difference between civilizations than AOE2. Some of the second doesn't make much sense tech-wise. As well, the Huns only collectively have an 8-year going, so they don't make too much sense either (Their unique unit should be more like the Oprichnik in the third I think--a seperate attack for seige like the units in the third would make it quite viable. Otherwise, the Tarkaan is quite expensive and not worth a Paladin.)
