you mean: Teleport, and dump the crew..?

I should've started writing stuff down sooner, but... I kind'a think there will be a reset/phase 3 the way things look so far...

From Level 5 for the Connon it takes 700 pts to Level-up
Level 6 -900 pts to Level-up)

(I haven't up-graded Shoot)
Shoot

Round Shot
First up-grade (First up-grade will take one of your Level-up credits)
"Rank 2" - pts damage (I up-graded "Round Shot" every time for the first 5 Cannon Level-up's)
"Rank 3" - pts damage
"Rank 4" - pts damage
"Rank 5" (5th upgrade) 240-480 pnts damage

Chain Shot Short Range
First up-grade 60-120 pts damage (First up-grade will take one of your Level-up credits)
"Rank 2" - pts damage
"Rank 3" - pts damage
"Rank 4" - pts damage
"Rank 5" - pts damage

Grape Shot Short Range
First up-grade 80-160 pts damage (I did the basic quests to notery 13, and only needed to get one flag ship)
"Rank 2" - pts damage (Slay the crew and take the ship. Another guide. But a player took my flag ship & did my quest)
"Rank 3" - pts damage
"Rank 4" - pts damage
"Rank 5" - pts damage

At Level 8 Fire Band unlocks-
First up-grade 120-240 pts damage (First up-grade will take one of your Level-up credits)
"Rank 2" - pts damage
"Rank 3" - pts damage
"Rank 4" - pts damage
"Rank 5" - pts damage

At Level 12 Thunder Bult unlocks-
First up-grade 280-560 pts damage (First up-grade will take one of your Level-up credits)
"Rank 2" - pts damage
"Rank 3" - pts damage
"Rank 4" - pts damage
"Rank 5" - pts damage

At Level 17 Explosive unlocks
First up-grade 1200-2400 pts damage (First up-grade will take one of your Level-up credits)
"Rank 2" - pts damage
"Rank 3" - pts damage
"Rank 4" - pts damage
"Rank 5" - pts damage

At Level 20 Fury unlocks
First up-grade 240-480 pts damage (First up-grade will take one of your Level-up credits) (hot, but freezes everybodys screen)
"Rank 2" - pts damage
"Rank 3" - pts damage
"Rank 4" - pts damage
"Rank 5" - pts damage

I not sure about some of this stuff
Repid Reload seems the same as the "Shoot" at the top
I did the Repid Reload at Level 6 (cool down is not that long for now without an up-grade

Rapid Reload Level 6 Barrage Cannon/Grenade Level10 Shrapnel Level14

Remember: If you forget to up-grade you don't get an extra one saved

Post if you have nunbers for the other "Ranks" and I'll edit them in so you can look at them all at once to decide what area you want to up-grade

For aiming the connon, I use the box your cool-down time is in, once I get centered (for a good attack the target will be right over the top of that box. That should stun the ship, and you can take out the sails. Graphic gages here would make aiming a cake-walk, but having the cannon in your face makes me think they don't want it to be easy)
