Um.... if this is true.. it was a fluke.. more likely a misinterpretation of the numbers being seen.

There is no way to heal an NPC that im aware of, and DEFINATELY not by using "Curse".

Yes it does very little damage, its not a damage attack folks. Its used to weaken the enemies ability to defend itself against OTHER attacks. The fact it still counts as a rep gaining attack is what makes it most useful. As you progress and defeating enemies gets easier and easier (and rewarded reps diminish more and more), having this skill, helps you to prolong your battles, and earn more reps.
