Corvettes seem to be easiest to find around Rumrunners (actually behind it).
Sail this area sinking any Bloodhounds/Sentinels/Vipers (any EITC). They respawn as EITC and often cycle through spawning as Corvettes. As for Bloodhounds/Sentinels counting as Corvettes, i'd say this member got lucky!!! Only one quest have I ever seen that didnt really care what ships you sank, and those are the Bartholmew Watkins fortune quests (guy kneeling by barrel in Port Royal).
