I voted 7/10 - not too bad.
I have tested games a lot worse than POTCO in the current state...that when released, did very well. Also tested games that were very polished and a lot of content...that later ceased to exist. It really all depends on how along the Development cycle is the current state of POTCO? If they are wanting to release in 3 months...I will feel very sad for them. The game is currently not fleshed out enough. There has to be more content that will keep players in the game. You can only sink so many ships or complete every quest a finite number of times before you don't care about the game anymore. They need more 'hooks' to keep us around. I think these are just basic ideas that have been presented in the game. The 'foundations' as it were. What they will be building on the foundations will be wonderous, I hope!
