Journey of the Last of the Bladebearers 2: The Dark Bladebearers
Aye, this is the sequel ye have been waiting for.
Now sit back and enjoy! By the way, there's going to more than just one part to the prologue, because there's some story you have to get into first.Prologue Chapter 1: John Skyfish The sky was blue and the sun was shining. It was a perfect day to get out and get some sword practice with your friends! John had the same idea as described and woke up to get changed and get out so he can naturally practice. John is John Skyfish, a young boy who has yet to learn what his existence really means.. He picked up his sword and told his mom that he was going outside to train his sword skills. His mother nodded and said, "Good luck!" He ran outside surprisingly fast, but that was because he had overslept and it was getting late to meet his friends. He made it to the courtyard and saw three young gentlemen sitting cross-legged on the ground near the archway. "Sorry I'm late, guys. I overslept again." One of his friends spoke, "No worries, John. We all know much you love getting your beauty sleep!" His three friends laughed and even John let out a slight chuckle. "Alright, John, here's the rules," said the second friend. "This time we do two on two. That sound fair? Oh, and only swords allowed." John was okay with the idea. After all, his only weapon was a sword. His three friends were named James Goldswain, Joseph Lockhart, and Ben Ironcastle. All three boys had black hair and had met John when he was taking a walk. The four boys headed towards the dock to practice two on two. John was very skilled when it came to swordsmanship, and so were his three friends. They had finally made it to the dock when they had started practicing. James was on John's team and Ben and Joseph were on the other. James started counting down for the match to start. "3...2....1...GO!" Luckily, John was quick and disarmed Ben by hitting him with the hilt of his blade. Next, James and John went for Joseph. Joseph was surprisingly swift and skilled. If I had to compare both Joseph's and John's skills, I would say that they are equal. Joseph made short work of James by kicking him, then slashing him into the ground. It was John versus Joseph now. Joseph made the first move and tried to hack at John, but John's quick reflexes blocked it. Joseph, eager to outsmart John made VERY swift slashes at John, all of them he dodged. Joseph was surprised that anyone was fast enough to dodge that. Joseph had to take a breather and he was open for John to attack. John kicked Joseph down and pointed his blade at Joseph's body. "Looks like I win Joseph," said John with a grin. Joseph was stiff in shock until John saw a man staring at them. He was a man with a belt and red shirt. John's eyes were keen enough to see that there was a blade in the man's belt. James took one glance at the man and his pupils suddenly began to shrink. He said to John, "Uh, come on John. Maybe we should get some rest somewhere else." James was still looking at the stranger and so was John. There was just something odd about that man to John... John walked back to his house and saw his mother waiting outside for him. John was puzzled. She usually only stood outside when there was an announcement for her to make. He walked up to her and she caught sight of him. She said, "Ah, there you are, John. Listen, tomorrow you're going to be meeting the parents of your friends. Behave yourself and have fun when we're there." She smiled and John looked very excited by the looks of it. He was finally going to meet his friends' parents. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ What do you think is happening? Who is this John person and who is the man that he encountered?
