Help a Pirate Month!

We all know what it's like to be a low leveled pirate, completely new to the game. You feel a little lost, unsure of what to do, and more than often, frustrated when it comes to playing a game you aren't familiar with by yourself. And even sometimes pirates that have been around for a while now still need help with something, but aren't able to receive it simply because there is nobody there to help them.

Well, I think it's time we see a change in our Caribbean!



I am declaring the month of August in our guild Help a Pirate Month! This isn't a contest, nor an event. It's simply a statement to the Caribbean, that this month we're going to dedicate more time than usual to being nice to our fellow pirates! Whether this be through healing random pirates while they level, aiding in voyages aboard public ships, or even stopping griefers in their tracks, I'm counting on you all to throw down your cutlasses this month, and instead pick up a tonic and a voodoo doll!

I'm not asking you to dedicate every fiber of your being to helping other pirates, but every effort is appreciated. I know I'm going to be spending less time looting this month, and more time going around populated servers to see if some pirates need help with a few quests.

I'm also encouraging all pirates to participate in this event, NOT just my partners! Outreach a hand more than usual this month to help make a difference in the Caribbean, and together we can build a stronger and better community.

Oh, and while there may not be any prizes for participating, there may be a certain party held at the end of the month to celebrate your efforts - savvy?

Remember, take pride in what you do, but don't gloat about it. You're here to help your fellow pirates, not yourselves. So, stay savvy, stay helpful, and of course, make plenty of new friends, and have fun!
