Post Flagship Guide

Ever wanted to know how to board flagships? Where to find them? This guide will teach you all their secrets and you'll be an expert in no time at all.

FLAGSHIP GUIDE

PART I : What are flagships?
Flagships are ships that you and your crewmates can board. They are seen while sailing in any ocean (server). Once you board them, you have to fight their crew. Flagships have a flag above them so it's easy to notice them.

PART II : How many flagships are there and where can I find them?
By far, there are 12 types of flagships.

EITC

EITC Sentinel (Light Galleon) - Found near Cutthroat Isle and Cuba.
EITC Corvette (Light Frigate)- Found near Port Royal.
EITC Barracuda (War Sloop)- Found near Isla Perdida to Cuba.

Navy
Navy Kingfisher (War Sloop)- Found near Isla Perdida.
Navy Man O' War (War Frigate)- Found around Ile D'Etable De Porc and Isla De La Avaricia.
Navy Colossus (War Galleon)- Found near Outcast Isle, Isla Tormenta, or Cuba.

Undead French
All of them are War Sloops and they can be found circling Isla Cangrejos.

French Shadow Crow
French Cerberus
French Blood Scourge

Undead Spanish
All of them are War Sloops and they can be found circling Cutthroat Isle.

Spanish Shadow Crow
Spanish Cerberus
Spanish Blood Scourge

Legendary

Queen Anne's Revenge - She can be found near Isle Canjeros, Tormenta or Isle Perdida. Just like the Treasure Fleets, you will always be alerted about her. She appears every 10-15 minutes.

Bellow is a map so that you can track down the ships and mark their locations.

PART III : Which enemies should I expect on a flagship?
Each type has its own enemies:

EITC flagships have mostly Thugs, Grunts and Mercenaries.

Navy flagships have mostly Veterans, Officers and Sergeants.

Undead French have french skeletons.

Undead Spanish have spanish skeletons.

The Queen Anne's Revenge has unique Jumbee enemies, which are not found anywhere else in the Caribbean right now.

Also, you may encounter bosses while you are on a flagship. Bosses have this icon above their head:

PART IV : How do I board a flagship? How will I defeat its crew?
This is the most important part of the battle!

Track down the flagship and once you've managed to spot it then it's time to attack it.

Fire your broadside cannons or tell your crew to shoot down the ship's hull. You don't have to destroy the masts in order to board a flagship.

Once the ship's health (green bar) is zero (0) it's time to board it! Shoot grappling hooks to prevent the flagship from moving (look for the green circles) and then the fight is on!

There's usually a large group of enemies on flagships so weapons such as the staff, the broadsword and the grenades are highly recommended.

Fight bravely and once you've won you will return back to your ship.

Do not revive your crewmates because when you go back to your ship they will automatically be revived (However, they will be groggy).

The enemies are designed to be around your level so you won't probably have any problems beating them.

PART V : What are boarding rights?

That's a very special rule of the sea. The vessel which dealt the most damage to a flagship will get permission to board it. For example, ship A did 15,000 damage and ship B did 18,000 damage. Boarding rights go to ship B.

PART VI : Which one is the toughest? Which one is the easiest?

The easiest flagship is obviously the EITC Sentinel.

The hardest one is the QAR.

GOOD LUCK!
