Yesterday, I was given the chance to get a four legged critter (a dog). My landlord's mom stopped by my place and asked if was still interested in getting a pet. Told her I was and she then explained the situtation to me.
About a month ago, a couple decided that they didnt want their puppy so they up and left it. First the woman left and then after about 2 weeks or so, the gentleman decided he wasnt a pet person. He too up and left the pup behind.
The next door neighbor of the puppy noticed him left behind and began to try and care for him (along with her 6 dogs). She tried to care for him the best she could, but in the end something had to give. She was struggling to care for him and her animals both.
It came down to finding the pup a new home or he got sent off to the pound where he would be put to sleep instead of finding a home for him (easier for them to do than let the pup have a chance). After talking it over with me , it was decided the pup would have a chance.
Capt. Jack was leashed and walked to his new home and has been having a blast. Here a few pics of the young pup.
How could anyone NOT love this face?
