As we have learned over the past while, all of Davy's rum has been in contact with the Monster for far too long. While Davy has gained an immunity to it, you have not. Upon touching the bottle, you are overcome with a fit of madness and run into the water, swimming deep into the Caribbean sea to escape. It is there that you are rescued by a Navy ship, but they find your piratey tattoos and throw you in jail.
