Cutlass question: How good is Thrust?

So I gather from the forums a few generalizations can be made about cutlass: most everyone agrees that Flourish and Blade Storm are excellent skills to take. But how good is Thrust? I see some people take it and others do not (or only put 1 point in it).

I'm trying to set up my Cutlass build and since we have no way of respeccing currently I want to get it "right" the first time around.

Is it worth it to take points from things like Brawl and Parry and max out Thrust for raw dps? Opinions and suggestions welcome.
