Basic Pirate Guide

1 : Health

2 : Ships

3 : Notoriety

4 : Weapons

1. Health

Your Health is one of the most important parts of your Pirate adventure. You need to have your eyes on this all the time during battle. Or you will most likely die, your health if the green line at the top left right of your screen. You can tell how much you have by three ways. Number one is the numbers below the green line it will say (Example 1222/1222) if your health is full, 400/1222 when it is not and so on. Another is the Color coated it shows, Green when you are close to full, Yellow when it is at the middle and getting close to die, and red is when it is dangerously close to no health. And Last just looking where it is on the bar. When I lose all your health you will get knocked out and ether go to jail or someone needs to revive you in the time line. Your voodoo is the blue bar right under your health. It is the same way you use voodoo by using voodoo doll and or voodoo staff. The only thing different is that it does not change colors when it is full or empty it is always blue. You can get Health back 3 different ways. First you after a while of not fighting you will slowly get your health back until it gets full. Second is by using Tonics witch you buy from Gypsies at Islands. And Last is if someone heals you with their voodoo doll. Voodoo is the same way but you cannot use a voodoo doll to get voodoo back. You can get more health and more voodoo by lvling up. You can also get skills to get you voodoo and health back faster.

2. Ships

You can buy ships at shipwright; there are 3 different classes or ships and 3 different types of ships. You can own up to 3 different ships at a time, and sell them back anytime you wish for half of you r gold back. The 3 different classes of ships are Sloops, Galleons, and Frigate. The 3 different types are Lights, Standard, and Wars.

Ship Classes:

Sloop: A sloop is the fastest of all classes of all types. When you get a sloop you are buying a ship for a hit and run or for long ranged attacks. They are great for traveling, and getting to one ship to another. It holds not a lot of Cargo and does not have many cannons.

Galleon: The Galleon is the big cargo ship of all the classes. It holds the most cargo of each type and has a big deck. It reaches it’s to speed pretty fast but its top speed is very slow. When you buy this type of ship it is best for Big crews, long times out at see, and for wanting to plunder for ships and gold >=D. It holds a good amount of people and has the best cargo.

Frigate: The Frigate is the Power house of all the Classes. It has a good haul, powerful cannons and a good amount of cargo and crew space. This ship is good on speed and is very powerful. When getting this type of ship it is most useful for. Sailing Quest, a Hit and Forget type of broadsides and a good deck for a crew.

Ship Types:

Light: This is for the newer Pirates. With a good enough captains can avoid most cannon shots.

Light Sloop: A smaller ship that is fast but very week.
Cannons: 2, Broadsides: 6, Cargo: 6, Crew: 3

Light Galleon: A Smaller ship but Hold Most Cargo off all the Lights.
Cannons: 4, Broadsides: 10, Cargo: 10, Crew: 6

Light Frigate: A Smaller ship but has most Armor of all the Lights
Cannons: 4, Broadsides: 10, Cargo: 8, Crew: 5

Standard: This is for the More Experienced Pirates that have more gold. They are again smaller so with a good captain can avoid most attacks.

Sloop: Good Size ship great for hit and runs and traveling
Cannons: 6, Broadsides: 10, Cargo: 10, Crew: 6

Galleon: Good Size Ship, great for long times out at sea and Plundering.
Cannons: 8, Broadsides: 18, Cargo: 14, Crew: 8

Frigate: A good size ship, great for attacking ships with a crew.
Cannons: 10, Broadsides: 14, Cargo: 12, Crew: 10

Wars: This is for the Higher lvl Pirates (Or anyone that likes to brag xD) they are big so it is hard to avoid attacks, but have a strong enough haul so you do not really need too.

War Sloop: Good Size ship Great for long range attacks.
Cannons: 8, Broadsides: 14, Cargo: 14, Crew: 9

War Galleon: A large ship, great for Plundering and long runs with friends.
Cannons: 10, Broadsides: 24, Cargo: 18, Crew: 10

War Frigate: A Large Ship, great for sinking ships fast and total destruction >=D
Cannons: 14, Broadsides: 20, Cargo: 16, Crew: 12

3. Notoriety

The Notoriety gage is to the left of your Health and Voodoo bars. This tells you how much Reputation or Rep you have for your pirate. Every time you fill this gage up you gain an lvl. You start out at lvl 1 and you can get to lvl 50 (For now). When you get to higher lvls in Notoriety you can get things like new quest, new weapons, better ships, and more health and voodoo (And more Respect to some). Every time you get rep on any weapon or quest it goes to your Notoriety. Every time you lvl up you need to get a little more rep then your last lvl.

4. Weapons

Your Weapons are one of the most important things. The more you have the more options you have for battle so the stronger you are. You get your Weapons by lvling up your Notoriety. And your Weapons have their own lvling bar. They can go to lvl 1 to lvl 30 (for now). Like Notoriety every time you lvl your weapons you get a skill point that you can use to make your attacks stronger. There are 8 different weapons; most put them in to 2 separate classes. Land and Sea Weapons, your Land weapons are Cutlass, Pistol, Doll, Dagger, Grenade, and Staff.

Cutlass-This is the first weapon you get, given to you by Will Turner. It is a close range weapon that when lvled up can be the most useful weapon.

Pistol-This is the second weapon you get, given to you by Captain Barbossa. You get this weapon at lvl 2. It is a long rang weapon that cannot be used for fighting Navy since the Pirate code says we are not aloud, not a fare rule but anyway, this can be use against any undead or monsters.

Doll-This is the third weapon you get, given to you by Tie Dalam. You get this weapon at lvl 5. This is a weapon that uses Voodoo. Its main purpose is for healing others and yourself. It is a close or long ranged weapon.

Dagger-This s the forth weapon you get, given to you by Elizabeth Swann. You get this weapon at lvl 10. This is just like cutlass but when lvled up you get throwing knives that can be used for long range.

Grenade- This is the Fifth weapon you get, given to you by Jack Sparrow. You get this weapon at lvl 20. This weapon is for far use only unless you want to lose health. Because when you get hit with your own grenades you lose heath.

Staff-This is the Last Weapon you get, given to by Tie Dalam. You get this weapon at lvl 30. This is another weapon that uses voodoo and a lot of it. It is said that the voodoo staff is too powerful to be used to heal but it is a great attacking.

There are 2 Sea weapons; you get both of them as soon as you start the game. But you need to lvl up sailing to be able to get more powerful ships.

Sailing-This is when you are driving a ship, the more you lvl the more skills you get to make it so you go faster or so that your broadsides are more powerful.

Cannon-This is when you are manning a cannon. You can either go out by yourself or you can go with a crew and someone can sail and someone can use cannon. The more you lvl you can get different type of cannon shots. To Fire shot all the way to Explosive shot.

And that is the end of this guide. This is the first guide I made so if you have any tips or suggestions feel free to PM me. And if anyone has and question feel free to PM me at any time.
