Quick Money and levels for noobs.

When you first start you want to get your pistol fast. Do the tutorial and what not then get your pistol. Once you have it you should be on devils anvil, kill ALL the scorpions until they're green. You should be like level three now. Go back to the ship, click on public, then join a war ship. Get to a canon and blast everything you can. After they get about full wait for them to dock. Now you have a descent amount of gold. Try to get into their crew if you can. If you can wait for them to repair then go into a warship or if they leave go into a different public ship. Repeat until you are about level 5 this shouldn't take to long. You have a good amount of gold so time to spend it. A light galleon is 300 gold, BUY it. Name it whatever you want. Now make sure you can take down a few weak enemies. Use your broadsides to shoot them down. Train your sailing to level 3. Find another enemy get near and escape the steering. The boat will stop, grab a canon and blast the other ship to bits. There is sailing and a descent amount of experience and gold.

Sword and pistol time. Find some gray enemies and just keep fighting until you get the experience you want.
