The Benjamin Goldeagle Story

Hey, mates. Well, I decided to, for fun, make up a story on how my character, Benjamin Goldeagle, was created.

The Goldeagle family lived on an uncharted island that only the Goldeagle family knew about. They lived a clean life, and they even despised pirates. Benjamin's parents (who, to this day, no one, not even Benjamin himself, knows their names) gave birth to Benjamin at some time a while ago. The Goldeagles continued to live their normal, prosperous lives, when Benjamin's mother spotted a ship on the horizon. It was Jolly Roger and his army. Roger had found the Goldeagles' island and planned to take it for his own. Noticing the island was already inhabited by the Goldeagles, Roger ordered his army to invade the island, and kill anyone and anything on it. Benjamin's mother bravely took Benjamin (who was only 8 years of age at the time) to an underground safe where the Goldeagles kept all of their most prized possessions. Benjamin's family fought back as much as their strength would allow them, but Roger proved his army more powerful. Benjamin's entire family was killed. Afterwards, Roger inspected his new island, but he noticed it was much smaller than he expected. He wanted to use the island as a training field for his army, but he knew that the "scrap of land" he had found was much too small to train his entire army. Roger and his army re-boarded the ship and cast off, never to return to the island again. Roger's army never found the underground safe, so Benjamin had survived. Benjamin crawled out of the safe, only to be horrified when he found the battle-scarred bodies of his family. He was flooded with anger and this gave him the strength to survive on the island, alone, with no family. He lived like this for the next four years. At the age of 12, Benjamin created a small, but strong raft that allowed him to escape the island to Port Royal. Here, Benjamin found that the only way to avenge his family's death and to get revenge on the scoundrel Jolly Roger was to turn to piracy. Benjamin's strength slowly grew as he turned into a more ravenous pirate. Today, Benjamin Goldeagle fights alongside his guild, Golden Marauders and continues to fight against Jolly Roger, still avenging his family's deaths. He also retaliates against the Royal Navy and East India Trading Company, who were responsible for some of Benjamin's friends' deaths.
