New sailing bug?

Ok, so today for the first time, just about everytime time that I launch me ship, there is nothing around but water. No other ships, no islands, NOTHING.

Even the island disapperars as you pan the camera 360.

If I take the helm, still no ships around, if I leave the helm and move about the ship, still cant see anyone else, if I get to a cannon, still nothing.

Oh, and before you say, well, maybe there were no ships around. Nope! That's not it! I can see them on the compass, many and close nearby. I can actually sail blinded and got engaged by invisible to me ships, problem is that once you sail away then you lose sight from your originating island and you are done.


Anyone else having this annoying problem?
