Team vs. Teams SvS (Sept. Week2)

[B][I]

Game: Highest Score, Highest Bounty
Rules: Up to 5 people on a war sloop maximum. No Light sloops. No galleon or frigate of any class is allowed. Once the event has begun, all ships must be fully closed to guild and public. Make sure that all team mates are on the captains friends list for reboarding purposes.
Judges will be placed in crews so that they may board ships at will to insure that rules are being met. There are ten ships per side, which yields twenty captains.
There will be one crew per side (French & Spanish). Every captain must be in their side's crew so that judges may board ships and communicate with the teams.
Captains: If you do not stay in the water during the whole event till the final gun , your score will not be tallied. A screen shot of the standings is taken at the end of the event , so , if you have ported prior to the final minutes , there will be no record of you even being there at all.
Captains: It is your responsibility to make sure that your crew knows and understands the rules of this event. Captains and crew will be held accountable for any violations of TvT rules.
There will most likely all the time be pirates trying to crash the party and ruin the fun. If there are non registered ships out while the event is in play, those participating will have to deal with it and resume playing. Of course , if a ship is not signed up no numbers they generate will be will be counted.
All ships must stay within the ring of islands. No ship may venture to the back side of any of the indicated islands for any reason.

Any person participating must be on the roster for the event. If a shipmate is late to the event or cannot attend, a substitute may be appointed.
The substitute must be placed on the roster prior to the event. If a person is not on the roster, the team will play the event without that member or will be disqualified for having a non-registered player on board.
Anyone on record saying anything offensive to any player will be disqualified. This is a skills competition, so save the smack talk and take it to the seas.
No form of cheating will be tolerated. Teams will be held responsible for any rules that are broken- No excuses; your team will be disqualified.

This event will be held weekly. The event will be timed- One hour; The accumulated points over the course of the month will be the deciding factor in who the monthly winner is.
If your team comes in first three of the four weeks, that only means that your team took the win on those weeks. Period.
The second or third place finishers on those weeks could win the "Team of the Month" title by simply having a higher accumulated score at the end of the month.
Winners will be announced after the event on the French beach (Andaba) and will also be posted on this site. Winners will also be posted on The League of Guilds site, and The Brethern Court page.
Should there be a tie, there will be a "First to 5 Sink-Off" between teams: The first team to sink their opponent five times breaks the tie and wins.
At the end of the month all points will be tallied and added to determine the "Team of the Month", which would also be posted on POF, The League of Guilds site, and The Brethern Court page and would also make that teams captain and gunners the best that month individualy.
There is always someone out on the beach claiming SvS supremacy but this is the only way to prove it. This is not a battle of guilds, but a skill competition between individual teams and players.

Captains: This is a great way to showcase your skills and put your ship's name on the map.
Gunners: This is a great way to showcase your skills and become one of the most feared gunners to ever SvS.
Teams: This is a great way to work together and show that you can be the best in the game all while practicing good sportsmanship.CAPTAINS OF EACH TEAM: Leave a comment to this thread with your the names of the players on your squad. REMEMBER! If they are not on the roster they cant take part in the event. Captains be on the French island (Battira) 9:40 est to be crewed and assigned your side.

STANDINGS AND SCORES

*** NEW EVENT UPDATES ***
First off , I would like to address the "one minute left" of the event every week. Each week when I or another judge says " one minute left " , that will be either a little more or a little less depending on what I have going on at the moment. Please bare with me as I respond to whispers , sail through traffic and keep a watchful eye out for violations. If that 1 minute turns to 70 seconds please understand that I tried to fit a number of things into that minute and that was as quick as I could end it. I will do my best keep the time accurate for the events to come.
Second, Please , when celebrating wins , make sure and keep it respectful and fun. Try and cheer the team on and not the guild that won for the simple fact that , this is "Team vs. Team" not guild versus guild. Practice good sportmanship =)
Third, A picture ( screenie ) of the winning teams will be taken after the event now so that we can better showcase the actual Teams. They will be posted on that weeks thread.
Last but not least, Captains and Team Leaders , please notify your crews that they are not to shoot at the judges ships. Savage Strider and Yellow Rose are officials so please make note of that. Teams will be docked the amount of the officials ship bounty if the judge is sunk.

Thank You All for your participation and support.
