This is easy enough to prove: CTRL + ALT + DELETE Select Windows Task Manager (depends on which verion of Windows you're running) Select the Performance tab Take note of the CPU usage & Physical Memory while running normal programs Then take note of it when you start up the pirates application Then take note of 2 it hours later Guarenteed, there is a significant memory leak the longer you run this application. That proves true for a number of programs that you run - however it's more succeptible to causing "lag" because of the way the game is coded. It's extremely hard to diagnose exactaly what part of the game causes this memory leak - worse than searching for a needle in a haystack. -Captain |
