I think they should raise the skill/rep cap, but not so that we can fill every slot in our skills.
I like the fact that you need to plan out how you will spend your points, otherwise a lvl xx cutlass is the same as joe blows lvl xx cutlass. It's nice that they can vary in styles... My biggest example of this would be Voodoo I put most of my points up till now into Heal/Cure, and Poke. Because I wanted to focus on healing my friends rather than doing damage. Where as some others have choosen to focus on damage, and put points into swarm/poke/curse ... There should always be that element of variety IMO.
