The Hack Skill Doesn't Give Damage!

when i was playing the game one day, i was using my cutlass and i noticed that... the hack skill ( the first attack u do when using a cutlass ) didn't give damage! this needs to be fixed. if u know how to help me get around this problem, i would gladly appriciate it.
