POTCO World Takeover
The War Begins....
I do not know where the old thread went or why, but a new battle has begun. When the first game began I noticed "flaws" in it and now i'm correcting them. Fixed Flaws list: 1. Instead of infinite open spaces I am limiting it down to 10 2. Instead of making new types of troops for your army I am picking the types you can use. 3. Instead of choosing how many units you can make I am picking how many you can produce at a certain time. 4. Instead of having multiple islands you will be able to have 1 island with multiple cities in it. 5. Instead of just sending units over to wherever in the caribbean you will be be limited an amount of spaces you can go per turn. 6. Instead of making your units "fly" across the caribbean you will have to load land units onto a ship. Thats the list of flaws already fixed right now at the top of my head, but I will fix more as I go on explaining the game. Units Available: Land Units: Level 1: Pirate- Basic attack unit Settlers- used to create new cities Horsemen- Basic attack unit that moves farther Catapult- A Basic cannon Archer- Long range battle unit Lv 2 Units Swashbuckler- Basic attack unit with more strength Knights- Stronger version of horesemen that move farther Cannon- Moves farther than a catapult and has a greater attack strength Longbow archer- Shoots farther and moves farther Lv 3 Units First Mate- Advanced version of the Swashbuckler Guard Knight- Advanced version of the Knight Dual barreled cannon- 2 shots Musketeers- Archers with muskets Lv 4 units: Captain- Almost unbeatable version of the warrior Black Knight- Almost Unbeatableversion of the knight Tri barreled cannon- 3 shots Bayonets- Bayonets that use close and long range battle Lv 5 units: ( Can only be obtained secretly ) Swash- Be able to use ME as a unit Knight of Columbus- Unbeatable hands down Quad Barreled Cannon- 4 shots Heavy Gunners- Unbeatable Lv 5.1 units Tortugan grenade- Will be explained shortly Sea Units- Lv 1 units Light Sloop- Fast but not furious only used to get places or for war frigates to Laugh as you come sailing by preparing for battle Light Galleon- For small battles Light Frigate- For getting places and for medium battles Lv 2 units Sloop- For getting places and for small battles Galleon- Cargo storage, Medium battles and getting places Frigate- For Semi-large battles Lv 3 Units War Sloop- Large battles and getting places War Galleon- Cargo storage, and large battles War Frigate- Cargo Storage, Very large battles, and for whatever else you see fit Lv 4 units ( Obtained secretly ) Black Pearl- Cargo storage, Huge battles, and getting places Dutchman- For destroying everything in sight Q. How does the game work Well first you'll start out with 100 gold to get your island set up and everything, then you have to set up defence and get your city booming then you'll need to do whatever you can to win. Does that sound easy enough. Either way I'll break it down Buildings- Structures that can help your gold, culture, science, and food production Gold Production- Market- Doubles gold production in your city Bank- Quadruples gold production in a city Science production- Library- Doubles production of science in a city University- Quadruples Science production in a city Food production- Trading Post- Doubles Food production in a city Sea post- Makes it able to get food from the ocean Culture- Temple- Doubles culture production in a city Cathedral- Quadruples culture production in a city Production- Workshop- Cuts in half the price and amount of time that it takes to build a building Factory- Cuts in half the price and amount of time that it takes to build a building after making a workshop Defense- Wall- Doubles Defense in your city Great wall- Quadruples defense in your city Tortugan Defense- Defends against Tortugan grenades Attack- Baracks- Doubles the attack strength of all units created after being built Enemies- 2 types: POF members and.. Navy Navy- Annoying little ppl who think they can win over your island, they never win a battle Takeover Terms Peace Treaties- A treaty that lets you not fight with the person on the other side of the treaty Declaration of Independence- In the beginning I own your island all you have to do is earn enough gold to buy the island from me and then you earn this Tax- Tax rates in the carribean are decided by me but you still earn the money Border Ticket- You make a fee for anyone who crosses your border and then they pay it to keep moving Secret Rewards Most rewards are awarded by inning takeover contests, but here are some that you can earn Secret- Earn 20,000 gold Secret- Earn 50,000 Gold Secret- Earn 100,000 Gold Secret- Earn 1,000,000 gold Secret- Destroy all barbarian villages on your island Secret- Create a military defense of 500 Secret- Collect 20 great ppl Secret- Lose the game ( Will be explained soon ) Losing the game: Do ya think if you lose I just throw you aside... Think again. By losing you basically "work for me" anything I need help with on World takeover you can help get done. Great People- Occasinally ppl will visit your island some of them will be great ppl. If you collect 50 Great people you win Ways to win- Economic Victory- Earn 1,000,000,000 gold and construct a World bank Cultural- Earn 50 Great people and make the Brethren Court Dominance- Make everyone else but you lose Technological victory- Earn all the technologies and make the Plane Now to wrap thngs up heres the rules: 1. Dont cheat 2. Dont argue ( unless you can prove a point ) 3. Follow all site rules Everything you do on here will be used with this map: ![]() ![]() Map 1 is for making your cities and everything and Map 2 is for moving your units. |
