Gasparilla 2009

My girlfriend and i had the good fortune of attending this year's Gasparilla pirate fest. We were joined by eight other PotCo pirates (who we play with in game) from around the country; 1 from Oregon, 1 from Texas, 1 from California, 2 from Pennsylvania, and 3 from Florida. A GREAT time was had by all, as we made a weekend of it. We spent Friday at Busch Gardens (the coasters rock), Saturday at the festival (we saw plenty of Jack Sparrows, pirate lads & lasses, but sadly no Barbossas) capped by a 3 hour pirate parade. Sunday was recovery/leaving for home day. Good times

Getting to actually meet face to face with people we play with online was as much fun as any activity we did as a group! Everybody looked sorta like their pirate, and we found no fake personalities. Cool good times.
