Going down with the ship !

anybody else tried to board ships and ended up going down or ended up beneath the ship is a strange fractal like place?

I have tried 4 times now to board ships and only once it worked and then I somehow ended up on another persons ship when it passed through the navy one being chased about by a mad navy guy who could hit me but I couldn't get him

the only way I have been able to get out of this is by logging out.
