Game won't load since system restore

Okay so I had some terrible virus on my computer and after trying everything under the sun I decided to just reformat my hard drive. I did a full system restore last weekend. Since then I've obviously had to download a bunch of windows and HP updates, years worth. I think everything is current at this time. So last night we downloaded pirates and when I try to log it it just goes to the "report a bug" page. Under the password box on the log-in it does say "Pirates has encountered a.." the rest does not show up on the screen. What am I supposed to do short of canceling my subscription and forgetting the whole thing.

I was able to log in at my parents house for a second when I ran over there. Someone in my guild suggested uninstalling and then reinstalling the game. I did this and it did seems like it wos going to work. Loaded the updates etc.. However it's still just giving my the report a bug page. I tried using the directx9 option as I didn't know what else to do at this point and still nothing. Anyone??
