Silver VS Steel
Hello everyone this is my first thread. I was just wondering what enemies are considered "undead" and "living" in reference to Steel and Silver Shots' respective effects. I was confused what stumps, fly traps, and other players in pvp. This has probubly already been a thread but I can't find it.

Its easy to figure out NPC wise Undead are Undead, everything else is alive.
In PVP this has come up before as well since you are technically undead in PVP. I do not do PVP personally, but I do believe it was concluded that PVP players are still considered "alive" and the undead was just a "look". (PVPers, please correct me if im wrong) |

its pretty easy to tell what is undead and what is living. Skellies are dead and anything else is living even the enemies in Tormenta.
and Zep from what I have seen steel and silver don't do much in pvp......haven't used in a while though. |

What Zep and Sven said. If something's undead it says undead. I've only seen hex shot used in pvp. Not that it does much anymore lol

So what if you glitch up and can attack people on other ships like you used to be able to? Should I use steel or silver?

Actually the simple answer is Neither....
Don't use silver or steel.. Max out Bane instead it works on living or undead and works well in PVP as well as I found out the hard way in PVP technically you are not living or undead but something in between so silver and steel has little to know affect. Use the points you save on other skills as level 5 bane rips a urchinfist to pieces and is the highest non boss enemy. |
