I thought theses Quests up I hope ya like the Idea

Interesting idea of new weapons quests, although I think selecting all the various steps/tasks as well maybe going a bit far, in which case they are all far too short/easy for the level 6 weapons they would be. Should be twice that long...

However IMO we already have far too many worthless weapons quests, and need more overall content.. STORY QUEST!!! PLEASE! Not just ways of stalling our progress.

Hmm i would like more variety of weapons instead of everyone upgrading to the same i want to see more cutlasses and such!

Also i would like to see WEAPON REP from the WEAPON quests! Lol but good idea i liek the flaming cutlass!

I'm more game personally for skills like Leadership. For instance, with the Doll, I had come up with a skill like Share, an ability that transfers voodoo from to another pirate (though it'd be more likely called Transfer or something, for good reason).

I would rather see a variety to these if we are to keep at them. Though its likely we will maybe see level cap raised, not to sure that may be the case on weapons. Perhaps a new skill is sorta what I think they may be getting at.

If this is the case I would like perhaps a special attack or something for max mastered weapon. Maybe even a finishing quest to throw your dice. Different roll gets a different end effect. Lightning strike, fire strike, or something that has 6 possibilities. Something that every pirate doesn't have the exact same thing. As well as a upgrade should look better than it predecessor.

To me this could be a added upgrade to weapons, and still left out of pvp and the apparent worries of pvp advantage. If this is the hold back we have been constantly stuck with.

Before time was wasted on this though I would like to see some new content and things to go forward.

If they raise the Cap - a new weapon would actually make sense instead of having to raise the 6 we have now to 'VERY big reps...' the new weapon is good for another 50-70k on top of the bumps in the current weapons to make it worth while... once a new story comes out

I sorta like the Cutlass and the Dagger to be realistic--no Flaming Cutlass or Lightning Dagger. Now as it goes for what Elf wants, there could be a quest for a variety of different weapons, only one of which we could possess at a time. That'd break up some monotony, be worthwhile and all.

However, as it stands, the Grenades have nothing of the sort--but, with a Mastery quest, they could have some other skill added, to make them useful to those who don't find them so.

Well just a idea to see something different than everyone having the exact same thing. If its a mastered max weapon it should look more than just a red handle versus a black one.

Be a interesting twist to maybe make a choice and have Tia cast voodoo on max weapons. Even if it came down to a limited use, like rapid fire or something. If a choice, perhaps different effects work better on certain critter classes. That usually leads to everyone choosing the same thing though for say undead.

I just don't really want to see another two point upgrade that is basically meaningless to high skills. There is just a lot of options that could be done, special effect to knock down enemies. Healing/life drain boost, or head thrust with staff, hilt blow etc. Just something to add a little uniqueness to a completely mastered top upgrade weapon. Yes grenades have been left out, for that matter cannon. A grenade thrower would be interesting, toss two at once or something with a charge on it to reload.

With this latest character and changes to cutlass and dagger, I really find both extremely boring, my grenades are well ahead of both. Never thought I would see that.

You know, come to think about it, I'm liking those alternate builds of weapons proposed by someone else (though I don't know if I tinged earlier on the idea or not). It'd be nice to a) have a different system of a weapon that would still earn us rep for that weapon b) without clogging up notoriety or anything of the sort.
