Question about cutlass rep - Pirates of the Caribbean Online Fansite & Forums

I have recently gone back to basic. Not by choice and it is temporary mind you. Until I get this fixed I decided to work on leveling my cutlass. I am almost at level 19. I went to Kingshead to go at some Mercenaries and Assassins, etc. The baddies I was killing were red levels, and I got no rep at all. None. I don't understand this. My cutlass is not mastered so this makes no sense to me. Does anyone have any ideas? Has this happened to anyone else?

The max level for weapons are level seven basic, so if u revert u won't gain any rep.

Yeah it happenes to me. The max on all skills for basics is 7. Once you go past it and turn basic it always says zero rep no matter what you fight.

Even though my cutlass level is almost 19? That really bites. Its not worth playing the game then. Oh well. Thanks for the info guys.

Err, once you pay up, the limits shall be overturned... as well, you didn't lose anything: you just had your assets frozen.

Yes I know, its just that obviously playing the game right now is kind of pointless for me since I can't continue to level up my cutlass while I wait. Thank you for the information.
