Weapon Doll Quest Help?

I need help... I started the lvl 5 weapon quest for the doll yesterday and I am on the part that I have to dig up a earring on Kingshead, I have tried searching barrels, crates, digging in the 2 spots near the field.. But it says go up the line of trees (to the second fort..) then find a earring.. I have looked at many dig spot guides and they all say their is only 2 digging spots near the field. I tried digging many times in those spots, switching severs..

Anyone that did that already help?

You need to go past the courtyard up the path lined with trees into the town then make a left look for a red-ish brick passage way go through that. In the center of the little "room" is the dig spot. You might need to kill a few guys to get to it first,
