I most definately do not think that players should be allowed to attack other players without asking.

The fact this is not forced on the player is part of why I like this game.

PvP is a realm I have no interest in, such pvp style games are rampant and all over, why ruin something a bit more unique?

I think just a single island where you go and all PvP is allowed...any level, any weapons (except your gun of course). But unrestricted PvP everywhere is a terrible idea, so many people would quit just because player killers won't leave them alone.

Personally i think PvP is the most pointless thing in the game. However, that said, if there was an island like that i'm not sure i see the rational for not allowing pistols.

Obviously ya haven't seen the pvp/svs here much in this game. With both loaded with so many cheats, glitches it would be a total lost to have this open all the time. I recall always watching your back while doing tasks, quests. Can't even imagine it here, with not seeing someone on radar, being attacked from underground and can't fight back type things.


If anything along these lines I would love to see, is if someone attacks your enemy you can attack them, now that would be great. Sorta like the soldiers and skellies fighting, you attack one they both attack you back. So if I am fighting something and someone else jumps in, he should be fair game to wack. This would end the leaching of coarse, and we would never see that happen.

If we had an island just for PvP like SvS then that would be nice.
I would like to see a place where we can just fight each other anytime we want. The SvS was a big update and got a lot of players but I think a regular PvP island would be good.

The POTCO PvP is so glitch-oriented it isn't funny. Why do Tortuga/Abassa idiots do the skeleton glitch, still? Not for infinite ammo - they wouldn't be there. Not for leaderboard ranking - the total kills can only count up to one per day. So what's left? The sadistic pleasure of crashing other people's game.

That's the only reason to PvP glitch - to crash other people's game. The suggestion here is to expand that to all areas of the game. Brilliant.

I've had times where I've mob-attacked things to help someone out. How would I control my attacks, to not kill the n00b I was trying to help? I can't aim away from them - attacks like wither or sweep will hit them no matter where they are standing. Pistol will give red circle, even when they are standing to my side.

Seems as problematic as having a "I challenge thee to a duel" system - mandatory PvP were they can't say no. (Limit one challenge per day, or something.) Anything like this, will be abused so quickly, it isn't funny.
