But I won so he handed it over. Now I keep it somewhere safe.

Is there a cap on the amount of gold you can have?

Here's why I asked. I was making quite a bit of gold with my War Galleon and hit about 46k.

I had decided to sell the War Galleon for 20k and buy the War Fig. But when I tried to sell the War Galleon, it said I had too much gold, and wouldn't let me sell it.

Too much gold? TOO MUCH GOLD?!?!?! How can a pirate ever have TOO MUCH GOLD???

hehe.

So I spent 5k on a Fig, dropping my amount to 41k. THEN it let me sell the War Galleon. That means I had just over 61k.

Wondering if there was a cap at 65k.

65k is the max and need to be raise, why plunder if u get nothin for it, so my gold must be at least equal to barbossa's

PAr taking my current Assets along with actual Gold on hand I believ my Pile surpasses his (he currently doan't even have a ship - and I Own Two War Frigates a War Sloop and 40k in cash... and with Gold w/knd coming up I'll top that back to 60k...)

the thing i hate about being maxed in gold is i can't sell any of my ships. I wanted to buy a light sloop for racing and SvS but when i went to sell it i got a message "you can't carry any more gold". I wanted to seel my war galleon because i never use it. Looks like i'll have to loose a ton of gold to my son's pirate.

I've already been transferring me gold from pirate to pirate balancing me accounts and not leaving all me eggs in one basket so to speak. Just making some room in me pockets for some of the double doubloon gold. Full war fleets, all upgrades, all the clothes a pirate.. I mean male pirate could want. So as I said I pass it along to me wee little pirates still on thier way to greatness.
