The list

I dont know if its a glitch or something, but im trying to track my next task (track the elusive James pigeley) in ''The List'' quest which is I beleive the main story quest and it does not seems to work. The yellow star in the journal never appear next to the task im trying to track. So I dont know what to do to continue the quest. What should I do?

It may be that the task that you are highlighting is not an actual "Task" but a descriptive tier in the task tree.

The only one of the above lines that is trackable would be the last one, pointing to where you would find Carver to talk to him. Highlighting the other lines, would not have anything to point to.

If thats not the case, im not sure whats up. Not sure if being a "Basic" pirate would play a role in this or not, but if you are a "Basic" pirate, perhaps your no longer to continue the quest at the point your at? Uncertain, its been a long time since I played a basic account.

I have unlimited access. But I finnally found it, I had to go back to the tatoo shop then go talk to Carver. But still, why no ray of light or any yellow star on the map was present to pinpoint me the direction of the objective?

Either was a glitch, or it wasnt properly set to track.

When I first started out, I had the compass act up on me a few times. I remember showing up at one of the wild islands looking for someone. There were some other players hanging out there and I asked them where this dude was suppose to be. They kindly pointed out I had to head back to Port Royal, but wondered why I had come there. I told them my compass kept pointing to this island for it.

Good laugh, but can be highly annoying, especially if, like me back then, you have not gotten all the teleport quests done and have to sail everywhere! hehe
