A new boss battle question
I'm up to the boss battle, and my sailing is lvl24, but I've used my skill points in other things (more gold, faster sailing, longer speed burst, etc.) so I have 1 more skill point coming and no points in ramming speed or take cover.
 Am I going to have to level up an entirely new character or do you think it can be done w/out take cover? Does a member of a crew get bb credit? Thanks for the help. |

It can be done, but when I do it, I always use ramming speed AND take cover. LOL
I think I personally would choose take cover, Ive SEEN it work time and time again, even though some people swear it does nothing. Its all in the timing.... If you have full sail, you can likely bypass ramming speed... |

Yes, it is possible without take cover, especially if you have a solid crew.
Crew members get reputation (etc.) for killing officers, sinking frigates, defeating fortifications etc., but don't get the 2,000 bonus for winning that you do. Remember that you can LOSE the boss battle as many times as you like - you can only win it ONCE. Be insanely cautious about who you invite. |

You can be the member of a crew doing the BB and get yours taken care of as well. You don't have to be the captain, or the driver
 That's how Sarah got her BB done, didn't know I didn't have to be the one "in carge of it" at the time.
