Many Noob Questions

Ok well I've only been playing this game for a few days but I have a lot of questions that I would like to know...

1)In the sword shop theirs only 2 swords, is tht all there is in game ? same with guns and dolls ext

2)Is there any way I can change my characters shape?

3) Where are some good plundering spots with many 20+ ships

4)I was told u can only have 25 points for each skill... so this must mean you cant max out skills? is there a guide on point spending so I don't ruin my account or can u give suggestions

5)Where can i get the feather hat?

6)besides plundering is there any good places or ways to gain gold (preferably somewhere where i can train my other skills)

7)what skill has the best dps when its maxed

8) what ship style is best for plundering ?

9)when do I get a staff?

thx if u answer these they will really help me

Hello there!

1. You get a rusty sword at the start, the two you are seeing are currently the only two upgrades that can be purchased. There is a "Fine Cutlass" that you can quest for at level 15 cutlass.

2. No, other than clothing, and hair style changes, your stuck with your body until they give us Port Royal Gym lol.
Added: You can also add/change jewelry and tattoos

3. Around Padres Del Fuego, Outcast, and Perdida in the waters further out.

4. This is correct, you cannot max out your skills, you technically get 26 pts. They give you 2 to start each skill (preassigned), then you get 24 more as you level up. There are alot of guides/posts here in the forums on the matter, do a search, and if you dont find what your looking for ask! Lots O experienced pirates about ready for ye to buy them a rum as they give ye thier 2 schillings..

5. The feather hat is a new clothing quest item. Depending on which one you may mean, there are two up fer grabs in the new clothing quests. Its also possible someone received one from a random clothing drop as well (very rare).

6. When leveling grenades and staff at kingshead you usually pull in alot of gold (on the vets on the field). Other than that, after you accumulate several cheat cards, review Manataray's Blackjack guide here in the forums, and go play blackjack at Padres, with a tad of luck, you can double your gold in a short time.

7. Unknown... not one for PvP, the Doll is probably one of the most powerful/useful weapons.

8. War Galleon (IMO because you said plundering) fire power, and a large hold to hold as much as a pirate can get his hands on while sailing the seas.

9. When you get to Notoriety level 30, you will be given the staff quest, which starts with a visit to Tia Dalma.
