First Mates
So in order to get my dagger I first need to find a first mate and get a pair of tongs from it. I would do that, except I have no clue what-so-ever as to where to find first mates. Does anybody know where they are located?

so far no one has found a first mate that i am aware of.
people have done the following: 1) sunk every navy ship around tortuga and port royal. are there navy ships elsewhere? 2) beaten the higest ranking officer at the fort ( he was level 15 i beleive) 3) boarded ships and defeated navy soldiers. most people are guessing that the first mates have not been added to the game yet. if anyone has any other ideas or tried anything else please let us know.
