Question

On a fansite for Toontown I saw a post where you could use a program to get all the music and stuff from the game. Does anyone know how to do this? Here's what is was
This is <snip> guide to multifying the phases. Multifying means to take the *.mf files and turn them into folders with files that you can view. The files in the folders are the actual models and sounds that Toontown uses. All the music, sounds, and images (such as the unclouded map) are in the folders.

NOTE: This program will only work with Panda 1.3.0. Please update your version of Panda if you have a version other than 1.3.0.

Instructions:

1. Install Panda3D.
The auto-installer can be found here. When it asks you what you want to do with the file, click on "Run", or "Open".

2. Get my file.
My file can be found at the bottom of this thread. You will need an extractor because this file is in *.zip form. I use WinRAR, but WinZIP works too. After you extract the files to their own folder, you can delete the *.zip file and open the folder. This file will work only if you installed Panda3D AND Toontown to their default directories in your system's Home Drive (the drive Windows is on). This program will work for both Toontown and Toontown Test. It will automatically check if you have Toontown Test installed, and use it if you do.

3. Running the *.bat file.
Alright, double click on the *.bat file to run it. It will tell you what it is doing. If it seems not to do anything, don't worry, this program may take a while on some machines. The program will also tell you what it is doing as it goes along. It will tell you when it finishes.

4. Looking at the stuff.
After you close the program, you will see the folder you were in when you ran the file. There will be a new folder called toontown_files with a whole bunch of new folders inside of it. The new folders will contain all the models and sounds that are in Toontown, along with a lot of other stuff. Have fun exploring the new files!
