Suggestion For POF

I have 4 pirates, so do several others on here, but we can only post the stats for 2 of them on our profiles. Can you add the other 2 slots, so we can add the stats of our other pirates, if we have them?

Maybe you could also have an Icon-test. Where people create icons and we vote a winner.

Yes, I do remember you asking about this already at http://www.piratesonlineforums.com/f...ead.php?t=7050 and I replied to your query at http://www.piratesonlineforums.com/f...53&postcount=7 which still pretty much stands. Nick has been very busy and just haven't had time to do much to the forums besides updating the various software that we use on the forums.


It takes quite a bit of doing to add a new font but you have to decide on what new font to add first. Most people have different fonts on their computers from each other. It really depends on a lot of things as to which fonts they have. If you pick a font that people don't have, then it won't display in that font at all. It'll just display in some plain default font like Verdana, Arial, or Times New Romans. We'd also have to pick a font that is easy to read at the different font sizes. If you get too creative or artistic a font, then some people wouldn't be able to read it.

Well as you can tell, I have given this some great thought before. It's really a complex matter. Frankly, I really don't have the time to get into right now. Perhaps when I'm not quite so busy on our other sites, I'll see about adding a few more fonts to our list. I'm not really sure how many of the other admins know how to install new fonts or if they have time, so I can't speak for them. Then we'd have to pick common fonts that most people would even have. It's pointless picking an obscure font that no one already has on their computers. I don't want to try to force people to download new fonts just to view the forums since that leads into a whole new mess of other issues. The forums should be easily accessible to the mass public or it doesn't serve it's purpose.

Anyway, I hadn't seen your reply 'til today, so thank you for redirecting me to it.

Would it be easier if we post in the font change, that the original is done in a specific font for the viewers who do not have it installed?
I chose the WaltDisney font, because, well, it's a Disney related site. LOL..
