Hello - Pirates of the Caribbean Online Fansite & Forums

I am fairly new to the game, but have been able to achieve level 21 without any help at all.

I am interested in joining a Guild that has mostly mature players (over 21). I am also curious if any guilds use Ventrillo for communication.

If you are a guild leader/officer, and think I might be a good fit, please contact me. I am surprised at the number of invites that I get, during game play, for guilds with names like Pirate Guild 2434224851! I prefer something more "established", as I am an experienced gamer.

There is a Guild forum here on POF called POTCO Guilds and Clans that has guilds that are recruiting as well as hosted forums for some of the more established guilds that are involved here on POF. All of them are "good" guilds, you just need to go through their forums, and also look through the POTCO Guilds and Clans forum to see the other guilds that are not hosted here.

My guild, Parrotheads, is a small, but fun guild. James "Jimmy" Buffitt is the guild master. I play quite often and would love to have you in the guild. I like independant players that also like to crew up occasionally for plundering or SvS.

I am seriously trying to hook up with MATURE players. I have been gaming for 15 years now. My last guild was run by a 13 year old. Are there any mature (over 25) people who take this game seriously? Or should I just go back to DDO and WoWC?

There are alot of adult players out there, im sure some will step up. Rackat for instance, who already had responded.

As far as "taking the game seriously" you may need to elaborate what you mean by "seriously".

My observation is that most are serious about improving/increasing their pirates knowledge/skills. Getting serious about SvS battles however may be a quick route to frustration... as there are a number of glitchs some have found and made use of to 'cheat', since the glitchs are in reality game bugs, Disney has not been seeking out and disciplining anyone making use of them.

Me, im more a casual gamer...
