omg the black pearl is for sale lol
i am not lyinig
The Black Pearl
The wood used included the Santa Maria wood for the frame and the Pine for the sheathing. Our Black Pearl was constructed according to a primitive drawing by one of the sea robbers, who was sailing this ship. A lot of time was spent drawing and designing the ship, constructing and paying attention to all the details to preserve the original look of the vessel. This ship is designed for the purposes of tourism with a capacity of 70 tourists and 8 crew members who can live aboard comfortably. The ship has 2 luxury cabins with a well-furnished bathroom and a toilet, two other smaller cabins and a cabin for a crew. It also has an equipped kitchen, which is on the bow of Black Pearl. The ship also offers 2 public toilets for men and women. This ship has 5 huge canvases and is 27 meters long and 7 meters wide. A main pole is 25 meters high and a standby pole is 18 meters high. The ship is fitted with a Liaz diesel engine (with 6 cylinders) and the TATRA gearbox for port & docking maneuvers. Water supply is 10,000 liters. The ship has 3 decks and an underdeck. We believe that you will be as enthusiastic as we are after seeing this new pearl of the Caribbean Sea! ![]() Currently offered at $2,900,000.00. May be reduced to $2,500,000.00 for quick sale. |

Where be the cannons!!!! We need cannons to fight off them dastardly EITC and NAVY swine (im sure there out there somewhere now too!)
But realistically.. wow.. Sounds like a project someone did, but didnt pull in the money they'd thought as a tourist attraction/charter (perhaps with the economy as things are). |

Forget them old Cannons... I'd want the Aegis System, anti-missle and at least several 5in (min.) Cannon Guns - something to protect me from todays crazy Pirates!

Dear Santa:
Please send me a Black Pearl for Christmas. I have been a good pirate all year long, and have not used any hacks. Thanks, Whiskey. |

But the masts don't look right. I'd buy it, unfortunately, I don't have close to a million yet. Oh wait, if I auditioned - and made it - for a not-yet-made Pirates 4, I'll just ask them to give it to me when they're done filming
heheAnd this one's a replica. Not the best replica, though. I'd rather the original. MUCH rather the original. I'll just...make one... :| |

Unfortunatley the ship we have come used to knowing as the Black Pearl, (one used in the movies) is not the real Black Pearl. As a matter of fact, Disney doesnt own the rights to the "ship" called Black Pearl. Its been rumored, that Disney was denied licensing rights to rename the ship in thier Pirates of the Caribbean rides from "Wicked Wench" to "Black Pearl". The real Black Pearl is a brigantine ship based on Bridgeport, Connecticut. Ya know what, i'll bet this here boat we're seeing is it!!! Wikipedia..... seems to know all! |

Hmm, from the description it would likely be a cool live-aboard vessel. But I agree with Max I want some real guns to fend off some real pirates......that and the fact that I don't have 3 million lying around precludes me from taking them up on such an offer.

here is more photos........
EDIT: A group of men wanted to build a copy of the famous "Black Pearl", not only as it used to look but also with the same materials and in the same place where this famous ship was built 338 years ago, i.e. in the bay near La Cieba on the Honduras coast. Details include 6 bronze functional canons, handmade canvases and ropes, and also the sheathing impregnated by hot blood from oxen. I called them and asked if it comes with a jar of dirt. they said it cost more lol ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()
