The way this guild server deal would work is: a guildmaster fills out an application made up by you all at POTCO. If their application is good, then they get their own server, named by their guild that only their guild members can access.
I also think there should be at least 5 level requirement servers and at least 10 Unlimited Access Only servers.

I have played way too many MMORPGS and dealt with too many game development departments of MMORPGs to know none of the quoted ideas have even the slightest chance of occurring. The one and only point of these sorts of MMORPGs is to have the opportunity to interact with new people. Plus, yes the server list would be HUGE and even if they filtered out all the other guild only servers to show only your guild only server, they, like any MMORPG department (even if coordinated by the big D) has limited resources on bandwidth...making THAT many instances of their game would undoubtably stress out thier servers. As for the restricted servers to only unlimited access only members, another idea that will not happen because I am sure big D knows that most of us unlimited members would flock to and congest those servers leaving the basic access members without such a great opportunity to at least ride on one of the unlimited members big ships...and I'm sure big D wants to dangle that bit of temptation constantly with the hopes that they too will open an unlimited account.
As for the other options...it's not a bad idea for larger guilds to gain extra notoriety but only because I see notoriety not only as experience but as pirate reputation. Bigger guilds should have the advantage (at least through game mechanics) to be better known (more notoriety/reputation)...And this is coming from a guildleader of a small but happy crew, a jollyboat if ye will.
Pvp..I haven't done any yet (I'm 12 notoriety) ..so no opinions there.
I forgot to add that the popup window would be great for a guild leader to help...ermm...you know...LEAD their guild. Until something similar to that happens...or any effort to support guild organization and communication...I'll just stick Gadflies (my guild) to one server.
