I was on the Vachira server and went down to the beach about 5 minutes before the action was supposed to start. I checked both beaches, and I was the only one there, so I hopped over to Andaba. What would have happened if I had tried to meet the invasion on my own, I wonder.

Far Out! I tried it! There was an invasion late this morning, and I hopped around some lesser-used servers until I found Savica with no one at Port Royal. So I took on the whole invasion myself. I was real nervous at first but what a rush!

I ran from side to side, using my staff to defeat the invasion forces. There were only two brigades of lower level undead, so I managed to defeat them every one. Finally the big boy himself came ashore, Jolly Roger. I stood off at the edge of his area of effect, with a Lively Bucko Brew potion to help me against his attacks, and threw Fire Skull at him. When my voodoo ran out I shot Bane shot at him. He still sent me to jail twice, but I kept on coming back, and finally I defeated him myself, SINGLE-HANDED!

That's what he gets for knocking me down and walking all over me!

Didn't get a whole lot of Rep out of it, though.

GREAT JOB! I just completed an invasion on Andaba, with lots of people, and that guy would have been downright impossible to beat single-handedly. I think invasion difficulty changes depending on the number of people there. At least, that's what I've heard.

Wow! I haven't heard one of these stories in a while!

I used to do a lot of solo invasions back a few years ago - it really is a great way to teach a pirate how to handle themselves in battle when there isn't anybody to watch your back. Every pirate should try their hand at it once in a while to give themselves some serious training!

Well, I certainly had an interesting day yesterday. I participated in 7-8 invasions (I wasn't really counting,) including my solo one, sank some ships, had to deal with some obnoxious and/or ignorant ship owners, did a lot of potions and turned into a zombie three times.

The first time I turned zombie, I wanted to see what I looked like as a zombie, maybe take a screen shot, but I didn't get the chance. I was immediately jumped by FIVE pirates. I managed to flatten four of them (lvls 17,19,19 and 28) before a lowly 7th level managed to get the coupe de grace in on me. (The other two times I just let them kill me.)

I think the POTCO people deserve a good hand for putting in some extra imagination and effort here.
