Problems With Launcher - Pirates of the Caribbean Online Fansite & Forums

The game was working fine earlier and for awhile. When I tried to play my anti-virus software (AVG) detected PotCo as a virus. I know its not but I accidentally pressed move to vault.

Then, it wouldn't let me play the game, it says Missing Shortcut, and gives me an option to browse and all that. I reinstalled the game but it didn't change anything. I've tried everything I can think of to fix it.

I did a system restore, reinstalled the game, and restarted my computer a trillion times.

Any help or ideas, would be appreciated. I have Windows XP btw

Have you tried emptying your vault or deleted POTCO from it? It might allow you to play POTCO again, but I'm not familiar with AVG - I did a web search on it and it looks like emptying your vault might help.

Yeah. AVG recognizes how broken the game is and mistakenly calling the server-to-client sync features of the app a keylogger :/.

Yeah I could see that, it wasn't really my problem anyways. It was my friends, I just posted it for him because he had it, and I couldn't seem to fix it.
