Launcher issues

Hi I recently returned to POTC after playing it years ago. I downloaded the launcher from the main page and when I first click it, it says "there was a problem restarting Pirates of the Caribbean Onine". I click OK and The log in page then opens. I enter my log in information and it says "There are updates for your launcher. Please select OK to restart". I say Ok and it takes me right back to the log in page. I could redo that process over and over with it always saying there are updates. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling.. same thing. I tried creating a new acct (since mine was years old).. same issue. I would love to play again but cannot log in. I know it isn't a server issue as a friend created a new acct and was able to log right in. Can anyone offer me any assistance?

It is probably just a bug on your launcher, or your computer is out of date.

I would go to live chat, and see if they can help you, if they can't your computer may be out of date, and you should update/ get a new one.

I figured it out. The live chat help was down (even though it said timewise it should have been up). My computer is top of the line and only a few months old so definitely not my computer. For some reason the download link for the launcher was an outdated version. I was able to get it to work after finding the current version of the launcher.

They switch everything to launcher didn't they? Well I think you should find in news archive of there newly updated one.
