Partner of the Year Nominations

In the great span of 4 years of one of the Caribbean's most legendary guilds, a special title has been handed down to a group of only three pirates in the entirety of the Caribbean - Andrew, Buck Bankok, and Charles Crestshot. It is meant to represent the fierciest of all scoundrels, the savviest of all pirates, and the best of the best - an award and title that is so precious that it is handed out only once every year, on the night of the guild's conception many moons ago. It itself is a symbol of the greatness of all the pirates who have passed through these halls, and we are proud to say that the pirates who have accepted this award on a level of greatness beyond all extents.

Of course, this award is not simply given to just anybody. The honor and dignity that comes with such an award comes from years of hard work towards the guild, ensuring that the guild continues to remain as one of the most highly-regarded guilds in the Caribbean. Each person who has been awarded this award has dedicated a large extent to their pirating careers for the sole purpose of benefiting this guild, and it is with their help we have made this guild one of the greatest in pirate history.

I am, of course, talking about the Partner of the Year award.

The Partner of the Year has always been regarded as the single pirate who has made the largest impact on the guild in the past year, having expended large amounts of time, energy, and patience towards bettering the partner community as whole. In them, you will find the true characteristics of what a Partner in Crime really is - strength, individuality, determination, and leadership. Although every pirate is valued in Partners N/In Crime equally, we must always turn our spotlight once a year to the person who has shown the Caribbean that our guild will always be home to some of the finest pirates throughout the seven seas.

But the Partner of the Year should not be chosen simply by my selection; after all, PNC is not my guild, it's your guild. The Partner of the Year should be chosen by their peers, because they are truly the ones who are affected by such a wonderful pirate; and although throughout the years we have allowed pirates to vote for the Partner of the Year through a poll, this year we will be taking it a step further - this year, the members of the guild will have the opportunity to nominate pirates to be placed on the ballot for Partner of the Year.

How To Submit

When submitting to me a pirate who you believe should be nominated for Partner of the Year, pirates will send me a Private Message on the guild site using the following format:

Rules When Nominating

- Pirates are allowed to nominate up to two pirates from the guild.
- You CANNOT nominate yourself.
- Please nominate pirates based on how they have impacted the guild, not because you are better affiliated with one person over another.
- Please do not use nominations as bribes/ways to become in better standing with others. Pirates who are caught doing this will be immediately ejected from the guild.
- All members nominated must meet the qualifications below.

Nominee Qualifications

- Pirates who are nominated must have joined the guild before June 15th, 2011.
- Pirates may be nominated regardless of past wins, or rank in the guild. We are looking for pirates who have impacted the guild, so whether they are a Co-Guildmaster, or still the rank of member, if you believe that have had the biggest impact on the guild this year, please nominate them.
- The pirate nominated must be listed as either "Active" or "Medium" activity on the Guild Member List within the subforum.

Nominations will be taken from now until November 10th. Please make sure you choose wisely in who you nominate, as we will not accept numerous changes with nominations.
